Actually, aside from my initial job after I retired from the Air Force, my BSCS meant squat...I was hire because of my experience in the field and personal connections, even as limited at the time as they were.

We're talking about people with no experience (i.e. just out of college/high school)

That statement could not be more wrong. Ifeadi knows what he wants and is pursuing it. Stanford seems like the best for him, Notre Dame really isnt that special (more flash, then substance when it comes to academics outside of the UG business school).

Are you referring to any specific major or field of study? I'm a biochem/pre-med guy so for me it makes absolutely no difference, but I could be incorrect in assuming that it's the same for CS. That's just what I've heard.
