But, as I understand it, the NCAA has not vacated OSU's wins from that season. Only OSU has. The win over UM in 2010 still counts officially, according to the NCAA.

Not sure this is correct man. OSU vacated the 2010 season and that was confirmed by the NCAA.

I had a scUMmer at work trying this line on me - how the game doesn't count because Ohio State's season doesn't count.

The "have fun in your bowl game" and "it doesn't count" statements have now become the mantra for a fan-base that has nothing else to be proud of...

Their loss to a three-win Toledo team in 2008 didn't count either, because Toledo wasn't bowl eligible. Hope that clears things up.
