2012 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Definitely won't be #1, but just two months ago a top 20 finish was in serious doubt. With the class that Michigan has coming in this run by Urban was sorely needed.

Two more 4-star commits puts us a solid #2 in both Rivals and Scout, and should Diggs then pull the trigger for us there's no way we don't end up with the #1 class.

You're forgetting the 12 additional recruits Saban is waiting to get signed LOI's from.

On Scout, the highest we could possibly be is #2. They only count the top 25 guys, so points would subtract for the 2 or 3 guys that are our lowest rated commits. The best possible finish for OSU would be Diggs, Neal, Dodson, and Marcus, and if we landed those guys, we would still be #2 and around 20 points behind Texas. However, I'll take it. :tongue2:

Well, I'm going to jump offline for a while and just relax. In a few hours I will get back on and see whats happening here a BuckeyePlanet with the full expectation of seeing more wonderful news for the bucks and recruiting. Wild but awesome time to be a buckeye.:oh:

I'm hoping for a Finish of Diggs, Neal, and Dodson. Just my 2 cents.

I would like to see some of you that put this much effort into calculating recruiting rankings redirect your efforts towards something a little more meaningful...like cancer research or how Wade can win the lottery.

Penn State already cured cancer.

Sheesh keep up!

So now they're even stealing our songs?
I'm still pumped about Michigan's 2012 class, who gives a damn about Ohio. Michigan also has SM & DT working on that 2013 class.

IT'S GREAT TO A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!!
Interesting omission of the word 'be', because, FAT CHICKS ARE GREAT TO A CHUBBY CHASER!!! RAMEN IS GREAT IF YOU'RE STARVING!!! etc, etc.

If we get Diggs and a top-end 4-star (putting us at 25 commits), we get all those points (well over 500 points) which would put us around 150 points of Texas. A few more top-end 4-stars would give us the points needed to catch Texas, even with the few points we'd lose by a couple 3-stars being dropped from the point total.
