2012 Masters from Augusta

What happens if it's a three year high school? Grades 10 - 11 - 12?

You're showing your age. Back when we went to school, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades were Junior High School. Now, that seems to have been replaced across the board by Middle School, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

A 40-year-old Masters patron was arrested Sunday after, police said, he attempted to steal sand from the sand trap.

Richmond County sheriff’s Capt. Scott Gay said Clayton Price Baker, of Ohio, slipped under the ropes following the tournament and attempted to put the sand in his cup.

Baker was drinking heavily at the time, went under the ropes to steal some sand, a short foot chase ensued, he was apprehended and failed to get any sand in his cup. Worth a chuckle.

Pretty dumb on his part, especially since he was intoxicated and obviously not very sly about his actions nor was running away a smart idea.

But also kind of dumb that a guy can't take a cup of sand back as a souvenir...:roll1:

In the early '70s, it varied by district. Austintown had elementary (K~3rd), middle school (4th~8th), and high school (9th~12th), whilst Girard had elementary (K~6th), junior high (7th~9th), and high school (10th~12th).

My age? Not so fast there, Kemosabe. There are still several 3 year schools in the Cincinnati area with feeder junior high schools that run either 6 - 9 or 7 - 8 - 9.

Truth is no one has ever found a solution to the 6th thru 8th grader... Norman Mailer once suggested they should all be sent to live on the moon until such time as they can prove they're ready to join civilization.

My own answer, should I become Pope, is to canonize all junior hi/middle school teachers.

Aerial photograph/diagram of Bubba's shot out of the woods that won him the Masters. Unbelieveable. I mean, I do that [Mark May] all the time... off the tee... into the next fairway... unintentionally. Bubba did this [Mark May] on purpose on the biggest stage in golf at the most important moment. Best golf shot ever.

Two right turns from a guy raised in NASCAR land. Amazing!

Incredible Sunday at Agusta. Yet, people still say that it was boring without Tiger. It was certainly the best Masters I've eve seen (I'm only 25) and I defy anyone to tell me it could possibly be more entertaining than that. Congrats to Bubba. He deserved it.
