2012 Final Four: tOSU -0.5 vs Kansas (ov/un 136.5) Sat 9:05 ET, CBS

For those who were asking about the Craft free throw earlier, here's the official rule:

Rule 9, Section 1c. "The free-thrower shall not break the vertical plane of the free-throw line with either foot until the ball strikes the ring, flange or backboard or until the free throw ends."

If anyone posted this already, apologies, I missed it.

I kind of wish we threw Amir out ther for a few minutes. Moves Whitley to Amir leaving Robinson on sullinger.

Or if you're not comfortable with Amir in that spot (I'm not sure I'd be, even with his performance against Syracuse), you could have put Sullinger, Ravenel and Thomas out there at the same time. Maybe Thomas doesn't get in as much foul trouble if he's guarding the 3 instead of the 4 or 5.

This is all hindsight and thought experiments. It's easier said than implemented.

My response to the fuckers out here is to ask them how many schools they've attended made the Final 4 this year. And thus, we had a memorable run that we can be proud of. The only real hurt is that we should have been able to hold onto that huge lead. But the run we made was incredible.

I'm surprised people were confused on that rule. That is something you learn playing ball in middle school or younger.

Weird, I'm not as pissed about this loss as I thought...sure i'm sad, but not really pissed. I dunno if it's because I didn't expect a final 4 run, or I just figured UK was gonna win either way or what, but I was lot more pissed after last year's loss

I'm disappointed, but there's no shame in losing in a Final Four to a program like Kansas. Bill Self seems like a class act as a coach, and you don't see any of their fans over here acting like jerks.

UK last year was a whole hell of a LOT harder to deal with for me. I had some serious issues after that loss. Not so much this year.

Same here. I care, but I don't let sporting events get me pissed off anymore, that's no way to live.

I think most people haven't bothered to acquaint themselves with rules that seemingly weren't enforced until this month.

After what I've learned about the Illinois job this off season, I'm convinced that Bill Self is on the short list of greatest college coaches.
