Hey, I'll give the devils their due, the [censored]ers played really, really hard...I have zero respect for Boeheim and never have, but lots of it for the players out there. They worked their asses off and didn't go away the 10 or 20 times they could have in this game when the chips were down or the refs were calling touch fouls at random. They had it down to one possession, and how much we all had to sweat it out is a testament to how hard they played.

Agree 100%. There definitely wasn't a lack of effort on either team's part. Great game to watch.

On another note, I hope Buford can find his confidence by the next game. He is in a major slump. You can tell that he is the kind of guy that just wants to perform well and do everything he can to get a win for his team. Is it possible that he cares too much?

How about Amir Williams? I though he really stepped up, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Even thought Matta might consider a bigger lineup with Williams replacing Buford in the lineup in the second half.

Huge win for the good guys! :oh:

Ordinarily I wouldn't blame them for being [censored]ed...but after the first game, Syracuse fans whining about refs is funny as [censored].

And if we had lost, not one OSU fan would mention those pathetic refs. :wink2:

GREAT JOB BUCKS! AWESOME TEAM WIN! SMITH PLAYER OF THE GAME!
:cheers::cheers:

I think we knew we were lucky to have Sully back this year, and with a Final Four run he's all but gone.

I'll be perfectly happy if he wins two more games over the next 9 days. :biggrin:

Yea, who gives a shit about next year right now. Just enjoy the run. It could end at any time.

(And he's clearly gone, could have/should have been gone last year. Just enjoy the fact a top 5 NBA pick returned for his sophomore season on a team that's peaking at the perfect time)

Absolutely. I could stomach losing to the Cuse players 5 times before I could stomach losing to UC and their punkass bitches.

LOL...

Jared just unintentionally said he was going pro.

Reporter: Jared, can you talk a little about Amir who played 9 minutes in the first half and did a pretty nice job.

Jared: Amir is really talented, but unfortunately he has been behind me and Evan. So watch out for him next year.
