UNCA player wasn't even going for the ball. That and the "lane violation" were worse than Hightower/Valentine shenanigans.

Phantom lane violation when the ball was clearly out of the FT shooters hand. Missed on the front end of the 1 and 1, but due to the lane violation, the Syracuse shooter knocks down both free throws.

In bounds pass goes off Syracuse player (plain as day), and yet it's Syracuse ball....

Unbelievably disgraceful.

Nothing we post can possibly capture just how badly the refs hosed Asheville with their incompetence. This crew should not work another game in this tournament.

Not a good day for officiating. Wow. My guess is the crew on Syracuse-UNCA game will have the rest of the year off, unless the CBI calls.

Thanks, I'll try and catch the highlights to see how bad it was in person too. Sadly I am not surprised...if that is the best refs the NCAA can come up with to do its championship tournament, then they need to hire or train some new ones. If it is what I think it is, then it is far worse and the NCAA is complicit in it, if not active in it.
