Phantom lane violation when the ball was clearly out of the FT shooters hand. Missed on the front end of the 1 and 1, but due to the lane violation, the Syracuse shooter knocks down both free throws.

In bounds pass goes off Syracuse player (plain as day), and yet it's Syracuse ball....

Unbelievably disgraceful.

The lane violation was a good call. The announcers don't know the rules. From the NCAA rulebook:

g. Players not in a legal marked lane space shall remain behind the freethrow line extended and behind the three-point field-goal line until
the ball strikes the ring, flange or backboard, or until the free throw
ends.

And the layup Syracuse got off of an offensive rebound after the ball bounced off the top of the backboard. UNCA players stopped playing and allowed the layup. Because the ball bounced off the top of the backboard.

The top of the backboard is not out of bounds. To be out of bounds, the ball has to hit the backboard supports or the shot clock.

That ball was off the front corner of the backboard. It's legit for that ball to still be in play.
