Well, if it is on TV at least now people can watch it if they want tonight...a noon start today would have been the perfect nightmare for NASCAR, with sinking viewership supposedly going to be rekindled by better racing and Danica Hotbod, only to have hours of boring-assed Waltrip brothers bullcrap yesterday and no race anyone could see that has a job if it was during the day today.

Actually, it worked out great yesterday. The enormous cross section of people who love both NASCAR and the NBA didn't have to choose between their two favorite sports.

They normally don't air at the same time. My friends and I actually get together every year for the full day on Daytona/NBA All Star game day. It's a tradition.

We are probably the only ones though.
