OSU's 'bloated coaching staff' aggravates Michigan's Dave Brandon

Dave Brandon is a fucking whiny bitch. First he says he's never heard of it, implying that Ohio State is getting a unique advantage. Then when he does find out that it's not unique (AND, IN FACT, HIS SCHOOL RECEIVED THE SAME WAIVER IN 2007), he's still complaining.

I hope they find Fred Flinstone passed out drunk in a ditch next year and have to fire him in November; then when they hire a new coach in December, do not apply for the waiver David Brandon. Stick to your guns.

Idiot.

Don't resort to Sparty cheapshots. don't let them rally behind that banner if they're getting manhandled.

It doesn't have to be a cheapshot to slap the manhood out of them.

Play physical - especially in the passing game (our DB's) cross the contact barrier (interference) once early on. Let them know we will impose our will defensively and if that midget of a QB wants to run he's going to pay for it every time.

Brandon, in that article:
Brandon says Michigan's 2007 waiver by the NCAA was no less correct, but that it was dramatically different from the provisions granted OSU, Illinois and UCLA.
"The way it was explained to me by our compliance people," said Brandon, who became Michigan's athletic director in March 2010, "is that when Rich came in, there was a quiet period where you could not do off-campus recruiting. We got a waiver so that Rich could make phone calls.
"That's very different from forming a staff and getting on the recruiting trail."
Forming a staff? Meyer had lost Haynes and hired Herman before the recruiting 'dead period' started this week. He's retained Drayton, Johnson, and Vrabel (who are coaching for the bowl). And during the dead period he's announced Withers, who's still coaching at UNC until the 26th.

So 1 extra coach able to recruit with the waiver has got Brandon all butthurt. Good. Get used to the feeling,

Beyond that, there are very good reasons for the waiver:

1. The kids that are/were already committed and planning on attending the school have an opportunity to get acquainted with the new staff to determine if a) they still have an offer; and b) they still want to go to the school.

2. Schools don't turn down bowl bids just because they are going through a coaching transition.

I wonder what Dave Brandon would be thinking if Gene Smith had actually done the smart thing and self-imposed a bowl ban for this year, making the waiver unnecessary.

I seriously hope we pound Michigan's ass into oblivion when we play them in basketball this year; and then again next year at the Shoe. I've never had less respect for those c.u.n.t.s.

You see, he had the same gripe about Papa John's while he was heading up Domino's. "Why are they allowed to use fresh ingredients and make their pizzas taste better than ours. It is just not fair!!."

Is it any wonder Domino's did a complete 180 after he left?

Damn right!

I have not ventured over to the scUM boards since the NCAA announcement. Are they whipping themselves into a frenzied circlejerk of self-righteous extasy over our bowl ban? Or are they indignant over the fact that we didn't get the death penalty, and blaming it on "O$U cheating and bribing the NCAA"?

I would say there is a pretty even split between the two groups

Much like delivering a pizza, it's all about timing. Hire the guy earlier and you would have had the same "advantage." Here's another thing - if Brandon hadn't dragged his feet making a change last year, Michigan could have done the same thing. You snooze, you lose.

I feel like this post needs more swearing and name calling- but otherwise a very good point.

[Brandon] Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm too incompetent and stupid to be good at my job so I'm going to bitch and complain when others aren't and make me look bad waaaaaaaaaaa. [/Brandon]

Actually I view this emotional display by Hoke and Brandon as a very good thing. It show that we are inside their heads. They finally get the seven year monkey off their back and we go out and hire a coach that can continue that sort of domination. So what to both of these morons do. They whine about how its "not fair" that we have 1 extra coach and when it is pointed out that they did the same 3 years ago they cry "no sir, that was different". But the real message they are sending to their team (and anyone that is thinking of joining them) is we can not "man up and get the job". No its maybe if we cry a little, someone will feel sorry for us and do something to make us feel better.

Compare that with the gut shot Urban took with the bowl ban. It had to be painful and has the potential to impact our recruiting much more then 1 extra coach. But the same day he was out there saying this hurts but we are moving on. And its sure as hell is not going to limit our final success.

So keep it up Fred and Pizza Man. It just proves you're still our bitches, you sniveling little weasels.
