EF, what's the recent story on Bryant?
Sounds like OSU is lurking, ready to pounce. If/when the offer comes, they will be serious contenders. If Michigan had won more/secured a future for RR, they'd be well ahead. Not saying an OSU offer erases Michigan's lead, we're the childhood favorite and his official visit is gonna be a spectacle (Big Chill), but it'll be a battle.

Side note, I have no idea why OSU is suddenly interested, I assumed they had the remaining spots in their class pretty much locked down to a few select players. Maybe heisman can chime in.
In the coming years look for many UM-OSU recruiting battles like the good ole days. Don't think osu isn't sweating the hiring of Brady Hoke and Greg Mattison.

Just like we were all terrified of DickRod's offense. :slappy:

This is the week we will find out just what MICHIGAN means to top recruits across the nation. As our coaching staff has been working around the clock to find top talent, you can bet this year?s recruiting class will be a nice rendition from the past. This week and on national signing day it's believed that the MICHIGAN coaching staff and fans will be pleasantly surprised at some of the nation?s TOP recruits when they commit to MICHIGAN.
This is very good news people.

Hardcore Michigan Fan. Always have been always will be.

Ah, I love the internet. Everybody claims to have "inside information" and is always so cryptic about it so they can't be called out when they're wrong. And I don't think "rendition" is the word he was looking for. Fitting avatar, I must say.

If by "nation's TOP recruits," he means 3-stars that UM managed to steal away from programs the likes of Toledo, Indiana, Tulsa, and Southern Miss, then he may be correct.

Last time I checked they still don't have a defensive tackle in this recruiting class.

3* Jack Miller out of St Johns (OH). 6'3 265 is a verbal. Of course, Rivals has him listed as a DE, ESPN has him at DT.

4*'s Tim Jernigan and Mickey Johnson are both listed as "considering." Don't know where we sit on their list though.

You don't. Cryptic postings on GBW about MD DT Darian Cooper, who would be a nice get. We'll see if anything comes of it.
But I thought the reason UM wasn't landing DTs was because there weren't many DTs in this region? :roll2:

Cooper would be a nice get. He'd likely be their most talented DT after Martin and has a lot less issues to overcome than the two projects they signed a year ago.
