Anyone have coach Fickell's and Bollman's e-mail addresses?

I searched this board trying to find where I posted this, then I remembered it was in an email I sent Saturday. I'm not posting the rest of it.

I have no idea what the offensive game plan was today. We didn't try to establish anything. It was as if we were just pulling plays out of a hat all day.

The article does a far better job of expressing that sentiment and why it matters. Play calling needs to set up other plays based on how the defense reacts to the earlier ones. That comes from having a philosophy on offense, sticking with it, and game planning off it.

What is our offensive philosophy?

What is our offensive philosophy?

Run, run again, try to pass, punt.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

We have none. No offensive identity. I said it a while ago - no schematic identity.

Maybe I should start writing articles like this as well? Best comment I've seen all day was in another thread ( not going to try to find it) and how we as posters don't have the resounding 'technical' football knowledge that someone like... Bollman would have.

After reading that article. I beg to differ.

This one, perhaps?

Found this to be a good assessment however as I commented on the article.... for some of what he is saying to work, the screens and naked bootleg, we are going to need a lot more help out of our young WRs blocking and blocking well. These guys are struggling running routes and getting off bump coverage are they going to be able to hold blocks to allow for the screens and bootlegs to be effective? If they can?t, these plays typically blowup behind the line of scrimmage.
