Matter of fact, when I went to the game against Springfield this year, I don't recall him playing a down on the DL! I was pretty shocked as I went to the game with the sole purpose of seeing what he can do on defense

What a difference a year makes. Heck, what a difference a couple months makes! At the beginning of November, we were looking at our empty linebacker position and saying "what are we going to do about this?" Now we have Crowell and Shazier, and a legit chance of Grant/Vaughters. Two months took us from a goose egg to a real shot at the best LB corps of the class. We're sitting at the #2 spot now, and getting any of the remaining guys out there will only help us solidify that spot. (We obviously aren't catching Texas with that incredible haul).

It seems Scout seems to favor our recruiting hauls more than the others.

ESPN: #6 class(needs an update)

Rivals has very thin coverage of the north/midwest and therefore a southern bias...

The Buckeyes cleaned up in Ohio with No. 2-ranked QB Braxton Miller (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne), top-three DE Steve Miller (Canton, Ohio/McKinley), top-three CB Doran Grant (Akron, Ohio/St.Vincent-St. Mary) and top-10 OG Michael Bennett (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville). Braxton Miller, an Under Armour All-American, fits the mold of a Troy Smith, but Miller is more explosive as a runner. He has a big arm and can make all the throws. Steve Miller displays the ability to be tough against the run and pass and still has good upside. Grant is a playmaking corner with great quickness and athleticism, while Bennett is a dominant run-blocker. Jim Tressel and his staff went outside the state as well, plucking two talented four-stars out of Florida -- safety Jeremy Cash (Plantation, Fla./Plantation) and tight end Jeff Heuerman (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier) -- and top-20 WR Evan Spencer (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills) from Illinois.

i went to the state championship game and saw miller play. i was completely blown away by his presense and play-making ability. he is elusive like pryor with a MUCH better arm and accuracy. they guy was phenomenal. i hope this guy starts the first 5 games this year because he is fun to watch. best of luck to him.

Ha, want to see something funny......we've all heard about the conspiracy theorists saying as soon as a recruit joins the Buckeyes class his 40 time drops right?

Well click this rivals link(non-prem), look at it as soon as it loads, then refresh the page and as soon as you refresh the page it shows faster 40 times to all who have signed their letter's, then the page updates itself and all their 40 times are rounded up!?

I thought that was funny.
