Hasn't the Big Ten played in more BCS games than any other conference? We send two teams practically every year. Compare that to the ACC, who seems to fair a little better in the recruiting rankings, who has never sent two teams in one year to the BCS.stowfan;1818948; said:The Big Ten's overall lack of respect, just kills us in the BCS equation.

ScriptOhio;1819279; said:And you know it shouldn't. I'd say that the Big 10 is the #2 conference behind the SEC. And next year:
1) with Nebraska we'll be even stronger
2) USC is not CHEATING TO BE dominate and the PAC 10 is not really helping themselves improve the conference with Colorado and Utah. They are just adding a conference championship game and TV revenue.
3) the Big XII is drops down a big knotch losing Nebraska
4) the Big East and ACC just suck in football.

Athletic receiver Evan Spencer (Vernon Hills, Ill.) is a coveted playmaker who makes an already-deep class better and helps Ohio State sit comfortably in the top 10 of the class rankings. The Buckeyes have cleaned up in Ohio with No. 2-ranked quarterback Braxton Miller (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne), top-three DE Steve Miller (Canton, Ohio/McKinley) and four-star OG Michael Bennett (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville). Miller, an Under Armour All-American, fits the mold of a Troy Smith, but Miller is more explosive as a runner. He has a big arm and can make all the throws. Jim Tressel and his staff went outside the state as well, plucking two talented four-stars out of Florida: safety Jeremy Cash (Plantation, Fla./Plantation) and tight end Jeff Heuerman (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier).

By Jardy...began playing defense for the first time last year, as well as playing guard...will be an every down DL this year...OSU recruited him exclusively for D...his coach says the decision took so long because he was having a hard time saying no to Northwestern.
Throughout his career he played significantly more OL than DL. His junior year he only played DL a handful of times per game (basically every time he played he made some type of highlight). This year he was playing both ways but during their playoff run he played 70% OL and 30% DL.Yes I know but I believe that some teams were recruiting him for OG as well.
