Rivals $ - Hayes claims Irish offer

Hayes has interest in ND because of their prestige, great football program, & their TV deal with NBC... Split carries last year with a senior so he's looking forward to carrying more of a load next season... No talk of OSU, favorites, or a timeframe...

Euless Trinity junior RB Tevin Williams receives first college offer from Utah

1:34 PM Tue, Sep 08, 2009

Standout Euless Trinity junior running back Tevin Williams parlayed his performance Monday against South Jordan (Utah) Bingham on Fox Sports Southwest into his first college offer.

I just got off the phone with Tevin Williams' father, Travis, who told me that Utah offered Tevin this morning, his first by any college and the first of many, many to come, I'm sure. Williams opened the season Monday by rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Trojans to a 42-21 victory over Bingham in the first high school game played at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Williams became the first high school player to score a touchdown in the new Cowboys Stadium when he scored on a 50-yard run early in the first quarter. That's a special moment that he'll never forget and always be able to brag about to his friends.

Tevin Williams and Trinity have another big game this week. Trinity hosts Cedar Hill, which will likely be the No. 1 team in the state once the 5A Associated Press poll is released later this week, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Pennington Field in Bedford. Last year, Williams' first breakout game came against Cedar Hill, so this one should also be special for him.

And, his father said, Williams had a big game against Cedar Hill when he was playing on Trinity's freshman team against many of the same athletes who will be on the field Saturday.

CJS, I have seen you mention a few times of interest from Kouandijo and Ohio State. I know we recruited his brother, before he went to Alabama, and that the family has Ohio ties.... but did you read/hear somewhere about the interest? I don't believe I have actually seen anything about it, but I have speculated that there was.

Talks about his visit to the Georgia Tech junior day & talking to the coaches... Tech sees Walls as a safety but he's working on his coverage skills in the hopes of being more versatile... No leaders or time table mentioned...

2) Scout $ - Walls Pulls Three More

Last week, LSU, Mississippi St, & Virginia offered... He's getting a lot of interest from the following but none have offered yet: Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Purdue, Michigan St, & Oregon...

Rivals $ - Virginia offers Georgia safety Walls

The Cavs started recruiting Walls in January so he's still getting to know the staff... He's very interested due to their academics & successful athletic programs... LSU & UConn are recruiting him as a CB but all other schools see him at safety... He doesn't have a preference & plays a bit of both for his HS team... No leaders & no time table...
