2010 Winter Olympics tidbits

I thought he had a clean pass. It was his fault the other guy tripped up on his skate? Bullshit!

Oh, there's no doubt that Celski disposed of the guy. What else are you gonna do if somebody get up on your ass like that and grabs you around the waist? That's what started it, and that's what the call should've been. Even with the call they did make, the other guy shouldn't have been advanced. This is NBA-level officiating.

...And in Ohno's semifinal heat, a photo finish! The Canadian guy in that one grabbed the Korean guy at the finish line. It looked to me like he was holding him back or at least using him for leverage to advance his own skate to the line. I'm not complaining about that though - it keeps a Korean out of the final. Those guys are bastards.

Kinda figured that was gonna happen. He was the odd man out racing against a pair of brothers and a pair of teammates. That was a big effort just to get on the podium.

That little French-Canadian dude needs to take his act to doubles luge if he like touching other guys' hips that much.

Great race. Ohno goes to make a pass and so do the Koreans, then on the turn Ohno nearly falls, but is able to amazingly regain his balance and it turns into a sprint to the finish. The Koreans made the best push though and Apollo gets the Bronze. The Canadians were snubbed in front of the home crowd though, which has to suck.
