the women's curling team stole the 10th from great britain to force a tie and then stole the 11th for the victory. if you forget everything but the last couple days for the men's and women's teams, we've looked really good.

Do you follow Curling on a regular basis or are you are former curler yourself?

i follow it... ohhhh... about once every four years. however, come winter olympics time, i make sure to watch as much curling as possible. it's mesmerizing.

You spoke so clearly about it that I didn't know if you followed it.

I have to tell you, it's been on the tv's at the gym and I've enjoyed watching it more than almost any sport besides the downhill and bobsled tonight.

That's what's really unfortunate about Shuster's problems to start off the tournament. The US men could very well have just one loss at this point.

yeah, one major drawback to curling is that there isn't the risk of a severe mishap. my statement may be callous, but that is part of the lore of watching athletes moving at breakneck ( :paranoid: ) speeds.

if women's curling really wants to take it to the next level, the competitors should wear volleyball-style uniforms.

I may be in the minority but I much prefer the Winter Olympics to the summer olympics b/c of the high speed, on the edge of danger events that occur plus there are less events occuring so you get to see more of each event.
