It's hard to believe, but for as unbearable as the domers were during cholly's first two years, they've legitimately mellowed in the past year or two. Sure, there are still a number of them that could annoy a buddhist monk, but by-and-large they've chilled a bit. Not scUM fans. Losing has changed them from arrogant, treacherous bastards to whiny little cry babies. Since the ncaa started poking around in their backyard, an awful lot of them have taken it upon themselves to police every other program and gleefully point out every little thing that they perceive to be a violation of some sort...even when it's not.
Fuck every last swinging dick of them. I wish nothing but pain and misery for them. It's like Lane Kiffen spawned a million Damiens, strapped a block-m hat on them and sat them in front of a keyboard. They deserve every ounce of sadness they've had.
Hell, Western Michigan signed twelve kids from Florida last year. Anybody can raid Florida for talent ... but how many schools are pulling blue chippers like Brian Rolle, Michael Brewster, Orhian Johnson, Travis Howard, Etienne Sabino, Jaamal Berry, and Carlos Hyde, all of whom will start or see significant minutes for Ohio State this year. Not to mention Duron Carter who was basically a starter last year, and James Louis who might play as a true freshman this year. Michigan has a long way to go before they can claim to be a major player in the Sunshine State.NFBuck;1746054; said:They have dived into that pool headfirst. Meanwhile, who have they pulled out of Florida that has actually made them a better football team? How many of those kids would actually see the field in Columbus or at other elite programs around the nation? Florida has, arguably, the deepest talent pool in the country, but a lot of the kids they're pulling in aren't getting any or maybe just cursory looks from the south's big programs. They were celebrating Posada's commit today because it was a win over USF and Texas Tech. They used to compete with tOSU, USC, Florida, etc...it's been said here a million times, he's still recruiting like he's at wvu.
Mount Union had at least 8-9 players on their varsity roster from Florida, including one from the fabled and revered South Florida perennial juggernaut St. Thomas Aquinas.LordJeffBuck;1746101; said:Hell, Western Michigan signed twelve kids from Florida last year. Re: RR's BALLS!! by bluernbluer, 8/13/10 That Tate had Mono this off season (still not fully recovered and limited in practice) and Troy's comments at the BT media day were planned. The team, including Tate knew Troy was going to say those words. It was their way of misleading the media.
I've also heard Tate uses a different helmet than the majority of the team and his isn't furbished yet. (I believe the majority of the team uses Riddel and Tate uses Schutt) There is no significance to there not being wings on it.
When you sit back and think about it, the amount of scrutiny our starting qb has received in the past month doesn't add up.
I still stand with my Prediction that Tate is our starter vs UCONN. If he doesn't start he will take 60+% of the snaps.
