I think that scUM has a pretty good offensive line. I know that they have a different blocking scheme but they were moving Illinois' D Line around pretty well. How many of them are seniors?

Lewan isn't a senior, but if he doesn't get his temper in order he'll be graduating to Jail soon. That guy has a bad case of Dominic-Raiola-I-can't-stop-getting-personal-fouls-for-fighting disease.

Michigan CB daring Bucky to run up score?​

As part of a team that has had its troubles stopping opponents, Michigan cornerback James Rogers may have set a carrot out there for Wisconsin. Rogers didn't go out on much of a limb when asked on Monday about the University of Wisconsin football team scoring 83 points against Indiana. "I guarantee they're not going to score 83 points on us," said Rogers, whose Wolverines host the Badgers on Saturday. Then again, Michigan allowed 65 points in a triple-overtime win over Illinois two weeks ago, so maybe the limb is not unbreakable.

Note: He only guarateed they wouldn't score 83 points. He never said they wouldn't score 84,85,86,87,88, ect. ​

As long as we beat Iowa this week and beat scUM the next, I could give a fuck if Bucky destroys them and also wins their last game to finish tied with us for the conference title. Aside from us winning, nothing in college football pleases me more than seeing Michigan lose, especially at the Pig House.

Schilling and Dorrestein. Losing Dorrestein isn't that big because Huyge will come right in and replace him next year. Schilling will be small hit but Michigan's o-line will probably be their biggest strength next year. Basically 4 starters returning and Barnum will probably replace Schilling. Also, all the running backs and wide receivers return next year. Defense will be horrible next year unless the young guys go through a transformation or we get a coach that can actually coach them up.

'Very cool' Michigan Stadium lighting project finished early

Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon stood in section 32 of Michigan Stadium on Thursday afternoon and saw the light.
He was looking at the permanently-installed lights all on at the stadium for the first time. The project, with an estimated price tag of $1.8 million and funded by athletic department resources, was completed earlier than scheduled.

The lights will be tested during Michigan's final regular-season game against Wisconsin on Saturday, even though the kickoff is noon.


"It took us 130 years to get to this point," Brandon said Thursday, clearly pleased. "This is an historic day in Michigan football. This is a major step forward for us."


It was anticipated that the project would be completed ahead of the Michigan-Michigan State hockey game Dec. 11, but the process was accelerated. "The Big Chill at the Big House" hockey game will be the first real test of the permanent lights.
Michigan Stadium will host its first night football game on Sept. 10, 2011 against Notre Dame

Maybe now OSU will stop using rented wimpy lights, or you know, use the money from the baseball, softball & track lights which are run during late games.

They spend money on so many facility upgrades, why is their main event darker than the majority of high school games?

I was looking at the little lights on the brick wall thinking "what's the big deal?".....I didn't even notice the lights in the stadium the first time.
