2010 TSUN News (in-season)

It shouldn't be a meltdown. Michigan just signed Justice Hayes. I would like to have Hart in this class but it won't be a big hit as many people think it will be. Now if Hart was the #1 DT in the country, a stud linebacker, or a fg kicker that could actually make a few......then that would upset me.

Well, I mean, you've got to recruit those first.

the m*ch*gan boards are a blast to read right now. i can't believe i'm paying only $9.95 for this entertainment.

the best piece of information was that dick rod played josh groban's "you raise me up" at the year-end banquet today. i really hope a video of that will be released.

The funniest thing is that their taking another RB may be what loses them their top recruit at the very same position. So, not only are they taking an extra rb over a defensive player...it ultimately probably costs them their best recruit. You can't script this any better...

It will be because he was hailed as the only thing missing from making this offense as unstoppable as some claim it to be (unless the O stops, that is). He was built up into a Marcus Lattimore type of impact on a squad.

The biggest meltdown is because Dee was upset that UM took hayes.
That is hilarious if true. I told some Michigan fans what a waste of a scholarship it was on Hayes and they would have none of it.

it's absolutely comical. they have one guy that can be labeled as a blue chip defensive recruit, and even he is undersized for the position.

unbelievable. the pathetic conference record doesn't bother them. the two worst seasons in Michigan's history didn't phase them. 2 years without bowl games. NCAA sanctions. 0-fer against the rivals. off the field embarrassments from the day RR was hired. most of those morons had 0 problems with any of it.

but good lord, don't you dare take away a RB prospect from them. that's the straw that broke the hilljack's back :slappy:

LIVONIA, Mich. -- Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez fought back tears, talking about the toll his job has taken on his family, and used passages from the Bible and a Josh Groban song during an emotional address that closed the team's banquet.
"I truly want to be a Michigan man," he said Thursday.
Rodriguez wiped sweat off his brow early and often during the 3-hour event.
"This hot-seat stuff is not very much fun," he quipped.
Then, he got serious with a prepared speech.
He cited Hebrews, talking about the faith he had in program's direction, and talked about how Groban's "You Raise Me Up," inspires him before having it played. Rodriguez, his wife, Rita, Brandon and players stood on risers with their hands held above their heads as the song blared in the ballroom.
