In other words, like many of us foresaw...THUD.SSS;1795697; said:Michigan never talks about it openly. Even before dinging his knee, you could see the carries wearing on him, grimacing and fighting through the pain of 30 collisions a game on a 185 lb frame.
At this point, his confidence & opposing defenses are bigger hindrances than his nagging injuries.
yeah right. like this whole website predicted a midget who weighs 100 lbs and runs the ball 90% of the time would get injured and/or not produce against real teams. suuuuure. In other words, like many of us foresaw...THUD.

Oh, he did. But he's cooled on the "this offense is unstoppable and can just outscore everybody hyperbole" after almost his entire board blasted him for it.buxfan4life;1795617; said:You mean The Beav had nothing to spin about this game? So UM actually got beat and did not beat themsleves by leaving TDs in the quiver? Really? Nothing?
Disappointing.....
Buck94;1795878; said:With all due respect and this is directed mostly to the more voracious and less grounded Michigan fans, it's called a score board for a reason and not a yardage board. Results matter and it really jumps out when you look at the yardage numbers versus their relative ineffectiveness in the red zone. Those two statistics are at odds with each other.
I don't know the stats, but it seems like they have with turnovers. Also, they are allergic to FGs...3074326;1795992; said:Is it just me or does it seem like they really struggle once they get into the red zone? Seems like their TDs are always big plays and they just turn it over in the red zone.
I haven't watched all games, that's just based on the small amount of game time I've seen from them.

Every team has kicking issues sooner or later, but how you let things get that bad is mind boggling. They literally cannot attempt anything over PAT length with any kind of certainty.buckeyemania11;1796009; said:their kickers are 2/8 on the season with a "long" of 34 yards.....doesn't get much worse than that
So does scUM when hairlice is in there...difference is Timmah was a bull who could run through/over people, hairlice relies on getting in space which doesn't happen with compressed defenses in the RZ.BuckeyeMike80;1796008; said:spread teams usually struggle in the red zone because the defense isn't quite as spread out as usual.
The reason Florida didn't was because their best running back had the ball in his hands every snap.
