2010 TSUN arguments & shenanigans (in-season)

that's my opinion, yes ... I don't think a good spread O with a good QB can be stopped unless it stops itself or gets too-injured
How long has Tom Beaver been watching football? Three or four years?

If there were such a thing as an unstoppable spread offense, every team in the country would already be running it.

Jesus fucking Christ, how can Scout continue to allow this doorknob to represent them?

we used to not be Michigan's rival because we couldn't beat them. now we're not Michigan's rival because...........well, because Tom Beaver is a fucking idiot.

No, because that would be pretty fucking embarrassing if you hadn't beat your biggest blood to the death no holds barred dog fight pure hatred brother against brother rival in eight fucking years. So instead of being embarrassed, you just switch rivals.

Exactly. Choosing the one you've lost to 3 straight times is a lot more acceptable.

ALL IN !!!!!

It truly is astounding. You expect that kind of hyperbole from the common internet message board poster/common fan, but for a site administrator to say something that ludicrous is mind boggling. I've been saying that scUM fans (by and large) have actually passed up the domers for the most delusional/idiotic fanbase on the internet, and with that guy as their leader, it's easy to see why. Could you imagine grad coming on here and saying something like that? Or Bill Greene? That's video-game smack. Crimony...

Lets send him some tape of the wishbone offense with a little note that says "THIS WILL REVOLUTIONIZE FOOTBALL!!!!"

Well now we know. this team is exhibiting the same maddening sort of in game "mood swings" we saw last year in these SAME two games (msu &iowa). Smooth efficient stretches, followed by bland stretches, then helter skelter comback stretches, penalties here, penalties there, great throw here, solid run there, interception. it is absolutely maddening. It's like 5 games in one....sort of hard to explain. But mandell is right, who do you bring in? Perhaps "who would want to come here is a better question". And the talent level, because is was so crappy to begin with it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. a crappy inherited roster leads to bad seasons, which scares away quality recruits, and increases negative criticism by our competitors. and yeah mandel is right, sometimes its just plain bad luck. For example, EVERYBODY wanted Justin Turner and william campbell, ALL the recruiting anylists raved about these two, but they have just been busts. its not like they were border line players where some said theyd be good and others werent so sure. Basically we are sort of a Good, solid Northwestern team that has a offense that can score in bunches, a porus defense, and we can go 7-5.
That last sentence sums them up perfectly.

You mean The Beav had nothing to spin about this game? So UM actually got beat and did not beat themsleves by leaving TDs in the quiver? Really? Nothing?

Disappointing.....

I'm just pissed that we have to root for these scumbags against Whisky.

Negatory there rubber duck.

They are a solid Minny/IU.

Northwestern has won 10 B10 games and gone to 2 Bowl Games over the past 2 years and beaten scUM head to head in their only meeting.

Even when they try to be humble they are arrogant asses.
