2010 TSUN arguments & shenanigans (in-season)

So does scUM when hairlice is in there...difference is Timmah was a bull who could run through/over people, hairlice relies on getting in space which doesn't happen with compressed defenses in the RZ.

That's sorta kinda what I was trying to say...

If the spread team has a back of some type who can be physical in the red zone, they'll do better than one that doesn't.

the INTs come from not being accurate with their passing....it's amplified more in the confined space.

What they need to do in the rz is remove hairlice and bring in tater. Sure, chances are he'll toss a pick, but at least defenses have to respect his arm and maybe allow their runningbacks to do something.

They did show a bit of I-formation last week, and it was the most success they had running the ball all game with the runningbacks. It's a joy that they had to hire RR to go 3-9 to go 5-7 to finally learn that Carr knew how to run the ball

I don't think these idiots realize that they are dipping into the realm of self parody at this point:

This_is_all_Lloyd's_fault!!!!!!!

The irony that these clowns spent years laughing at the "It's Ty's fault!" crap is just too delicious...

I skimmed it to this statement:

The average Div-1 program has around 100 scholarship athletes on the team.

That is when I knew this poster has zero real knowledge of the sport.

oh I agree. The point was if UM can just eliminate the silly penalties (false starts during a home game are inexcusable) and the INT's, the offense would have been a lot better in the last two games.

It's just like last years osu game, they were able to move the ball pretty well, but were turnover machines.

I absolutely agree with your take on the penalties and how it can put the offense in bad situations where the offense gets "off schedule" (1st and 15, 2nd and long). I think some of the turnovers, i.e. INTs, have to do with the offense pressing to make a play when they are playing from behind. Schematically, Michigan does not do well when down by 10 points or more because it puts more pressure on the passing attack and de-emphasizes the run game. The offenses is quite effective when it can play with a lead, but with the state of the defense, that is always in doubt.

jesus......i just pictured Wisconsin's OLine playing like they did against us, against them.

John Clay will go over 2,000 yards against them............for the game.

You'd think so, but I think Wisky shot their load against us. I look for them to be seriously underwhelming in one or two remaining games this season. They might just mess around and let SCUM beat them. Would not surprise me one bit.

Oh yeah, I'm sure they got up for our game more than they will for the rest of the year.......but just imagine their OLine performing at the same level, but playing against Michigan.

True, if they Wiscy plays anywhere near that level of intensity, it will get ugly.

When I watched the Sparty game, I was thinking that we need to give the ball to Zach Boren about 20 times when we play them. Guaranteed 7 yards per play.

That's why they were trying to get Hopkins more involved. He's that bruiser type that is perfect for goal line situations

I don't think I have ever witnessed the butthurt that these fans have over Pryor not going to UM:

http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/tp-michigan?page=1

There are a couple of rational posters sprinkled in there, but the overall theme is that Pryor is a horrible QB that none of them truly wanted and he is dumb as a stump. :shake:

Did QBForce "approve that message?"

...think we'll see November 27, what "dumb stump" has to say about that...

I hope he rails them, both in the air, and on the ground...
