2010 TSUN arguments & shenanigans (in-season)

Okay... I'll take a shot at evaluating Oregon v. Michigan.

Coaches: Chip Kelly runs the offense. Aliotti is the DC. Chip Kelly doesn't interfere with what Aliotti does on the D.

RR has something to do with the offense. I'll go out on a limb and say that they've never had a DC as whoever happens to be given the title doesn't have any authority.

Offense: I'm sure that I needn't provide much in this regard except for a couple points:

The Duck spread only has title in common with the Michigan offense.
The Duck offense actually uses all athletes on the field as there is more than a QB and 7 slot backs.

Defense: The Ducks have depth that is athletic and talented. Michigan doesn't have this remotely. What Michigan and Oregon have in common defensively is that both defenses are liabilities.

I'll leave it at that.

How can they not realize how absolutely pathetic it is for a school like M*ch*g*n saying "When I grow up, I wanna be just like Oregon"...? Oregon!!

This.

Coach Mark was close when he said: "Pride before the fall." They are all kinds of full of pride, but it's more like a tequila-pride. When they wake up the next moring and someone points out what they said... let the fall really begin.

LOL

It's classic "little brother syndrome"...get your ass kicked in, so you say "someday, I'm gonna be just like him!"...of course, they now have 3 "big brothers".

Well I was thinking "prison bitch" but yeah, "little brother" syndrome works too.

Well, shit, forgot about them...if JoePa can pull off a miracle this weekend and get his injury-riddled gang of schlubs up, maybe it'll be six!
Oh man those boards would meltdown if State Penn hands them their asses on a platter.

Would love to see the Beav spin on that loss if it happens, like how many TDs they left in the quiver this time around.

Ya know, some will always call it arrogant, but there are schools out there that have earned the right to say "We are The Ohio State University! This is unacceptable. Period!". Teams like Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, USC, etc. The traditional powers. Schools that have the history and the resources to be the best. M*ch*g*n falls into this category. These types of schools should never be in a position where they hope to someday be like the U of XYZ. They should turn in above .500 years despite their coach. Amazing what has become of them when I read these posts from their forums. You strive to be yourselves, not Oregon...
