It's USC.

Good luck young man.

not so much.. Gonna try real hard not to bash here but after all the stuff I heard about how his dad was checking out these coaches and he wanted stability and a good man leading him blah blah blah... then you sign with kiffen? been with 4 teams in what 5 years? a walking recruiting violation? a team that if not for its location would have had the hammer on them already? nope, not gonna wish any good luck there.. sorry

Good luck to him. At the end of the day, he chose where he and his family wanted to go. Can't fault him for that.

I will say, however, that I don't believe that USC will enjoy the same success under Kiffin as it did under Carroll. Kiffin hasn't shown any ability to succeed as a head coach.

A-A prediction-our recruits will be much happier about how their season finishes out next year than USC's:oh::io:

B-To really understand how football recruiting works after January 1st-read some quotes/philosophy of life from Don King(a proud Ohioan). JT won't touch that style w/ a 10 foot pole-and rightfully so-but if you want answers-just do a little digging on Don King, and extrapolate the philosophy/individuals/results from boxing to football

C-Except for the lack of #'s on the OL, I am very pleased with this class. James Louis and Rod Smith will make many happy memories in the Shoe!

He did a pretty good job with a basically mediocre Tennessee team last year (not in the bowl though). He's got a great staff, onbviously can recruit at an extremely high level, and has little competition in their conference. I think he'll continue right on with what Petey was doing: Recruit unbelievable talent, lose 1-2 games each year he shouldn't, and win multiple Rose Bowls. I can only hope we can beat him in one of those Grand Daddy's, just not in the next two years  (I want national titles).

Question- sorry if it's too soon.

We're saving a scholly for Latwaan- do you think the other gets banked for next year, gets used for a quality walk-on who's already with the squad, or is there an unknown student athlete (the Australian punter, perhaps) out there?

Assuming everything is equal:

If a parent can sit down with Lane Kiffin and/or Ed Orgeron and have a conversation about their child's future, and then sit down and have that same conversation with Jim Tressel, and then choose USC...

Good Luck.
