Big Ten Blitz: Big week for the Buckeyes?

The Buckeyes have a chance for a huge week. The nation's No. 2 prospect, Seantrel Henderson, is making his college choice known on Wednesday. Henderson doesn't give any clues as to where he is going, but Ohio State certainly has as good a chance as anyone. The Buckeyes have just a couple of scholarships to give. If they strike out on Matt James, which is a possibility, they can turn back to five-star ATH Latwan Anderson to cap the 2010 class with a huge commitment. In addition, Ohio State is hard at work in the class of 2011, offering three in-state prospects - Ron Tanner, Aundrey Walker, and Michael Bennett - at Sunday's junior day.

When I am worried about the outcome I just vbet for the other guys and if the Bucks loose out i get a crappy consolation prize(vcash).:) I tried that negative mojo, reverse psych thing last year, but it didn't give any better results. If being right is important to you, I hope you have a bad day tomorrow. :wink2:

Haha I used the same strategy with Big 10 teams in Bowl pick 'em, save OSU and Iowa. Always a good move. This year for recruiting, I just tried being as pessimistic as possible in advance, without getting banned and that works as well :biggrin:

Minnesota created an actual trophy case for each of their rivalry games. And right now, all four of those cases are empty:

Floyd of Rosedale is in Iowa
Governor's Victory Bell is at Penn State
The Little Brown Jug is at TSUN, and
Paul Bunyon's Axe is in Wisconsin

You forgot one. Every year, the Golden Gophers play the Buckeyes in a quest to secure The Absolute [censored] Miracle.

That case will remain empty for the foreseeable future.

Henderson and James

Hope we land either/both but James hasn't been on OSU campus for quite awhile and at ND recently, and Henderson is going through the glitz of announcing in NY which doesn't seem to bode for OSU.

We'll go on no matter the outcome!
