2010 SEC Discussion and vBet

The off season is long and boring. These people are good at lifting heavy stuff and help other people learn how to lift heavy stuff too.

All due respect, but following up the previous link with something about S&C coaches comes out - well - gay.

The Vuvuzela: Coming to SEC Stadiums - Chris Littmann - The Sporting Blog - Sporting News

Just when you thought you couldn't hate them any more... :shake:

Yes I realize OSU had students interested in these abominations, but fortunately intelligent adults won out there. ESPN has to be thrilled, what with saving money on commentators since everyone will have the game on mute to avoid insanity.

The vuvuzela, along with any artificial noisemaker, will fall under the revamped guidelines of the Mississippi State cowbell, according to SEC associate commissioner Charles Bloom. Fans are only allowed to use the cowbells (or vuvuzelas) during pregame, between quarters, halftime, timeouts, after scores and during possession changes.

How in the hell are they going to enforce this if a whole stadium full of people bring these in?

An update on Barksdale, who'll be manning the LT spot in his senior season:

Gone is Ciron Black, a longtime starter on the left side who earned All-SEC honors but didn't turn out to be the NFL prospect everyone expected after a rough senior year. It'll be up to Joseph Barksdale to take over the spot after moving over after starting every game over the last two years on the right side. The 6-5, 315-pound senior has the size and has the toughness, but he's not necessarily athletic enough to be a star of a pass protector. The former defensive tackle can blast away for the ground game and he should be more productive with the new more physical attitude of the line.
