Well, the year after you last won it all you played San Diego State, a team which had lost nine games the previous year.

They still have to play the SECCG (if they are lucky enough to win the division), which has been a pretty good test as of late. We play those a-holes in the regular season this year too. If they get to the BCSCG, the Georgia State scrimmage will not be a factor.

eh, I say at least play a sun belt or MAC team or some low caliber 1-A school

I just dont see any reason to schedule a team playing their first season of football

I guess Georgia State does have the Star Jackson revenge factor though :slappy:

I honestly don't know why the Tahd did (other than the easy "W"....did someone back out last minute?), but sometimes the rent a win appearing on a schedule is a personal favor to the rent-a-win program's coach or AD, in that playing a big boy like tOSU or Bama can give them a huuuuge pay day that they otherwise would not see in their conference, and a half a million dollars can really jump start a fledging program with limited resources.

You guys have been good to the other lesser Ohio schools of late, and I am sure that they appreciate the publicity and $$$$ they get from you playing them as well.
