I'm getting less and less confident as the game gets closer, I really don't think we'll be able to stop the Buckeyes power running game. And , on top of that, I don't exactly think we'll "run all over" your defense....

Oh, time for some reverse psychology, eh? Well fuck you, we're even less confident. Hell, you might beat us so badly that it tears space and time itself, resulting in the destruction of the Earth.

Exactly. Nice try oreducks77. Nice try. :roll1:

Oregon by fourteen hundred and fifty.

Great post. I had no idea Miller Paint was purchasing ICI Paint stores in the Portland area.

Those cuts-and-pastes can be a bitch. :tongue2: Seriously, muffler, good finds on the other links.

Sweet Jesus Murphy! Good catch. I've edited my post to show the video.

More on the ICI below. Stay tuned!

OOPS!... nevertheless a great article.

One of our safeties, John Boyett, is a real feisty little guy... from everything I heard he's got a bit of the napoleon complex and comes off pretty cocky. He's probably the only guy on the Oregon defense who thinks wee'll have "no problem" containing Pryor, lol.

It was a great article. I definitely like that cat better than Hunt.

You would've if you were paying attention.

Miller is poised for a banner year. Invest heavily.

Okay... quick back story. The reason I had that in the post was because I thought about sending it to some of my co-workers. The company I work for (AkzoNobel Coatings) bought ICI a little less than 2 years ago for ~$14 billion. There's been some recent realignment within my organization that has dealt with kind of isolating the North American section. I just wonder if this situation with ICI is a first step in other moves.

Back to the game.

Rose Bowl: Terrelle Pryor, attired of attention | The Ducks Beat - OregonLive.com

Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who said his affinity for Nike gear was a factor in his interest in Oregon, was making another fashion statement Wednesday.

Wearing a Cincinnati Reds cap after showing up in a Florida Marlins cap Monday, Pryor also sported some Jay-Z black glasses.

?That?s how some of my cousins wear em, down in Pittsburgh and Cleveland,?? said Pryor, who was also wearing some lowtop black Chuck Taylors. ?It?s not because of any famous people, I don?t like copying anybody like that, it?s just my cousins.??

One thing he hasn?t worn in the Rose Bowl practices is a knee brace. After revealing Monday that he?s been playing with a partially torn posterior collateral knee ligament, Pryor said he?s played with the injury for six games and has to play through some occasional pain.

?It is not an issue,?? OSU coach Jim Tressel said. ?He has looked as quick and explosive as ever. I think it was an issue in early November, but I haven't seen it be an issue in December and beyond.??

Rose Bowl: Looks like green jerseys and white helmets | The Ducks Beat - OregonLive.com

It doesn't appear Oregon is going to break out any carbon helmets or new uniform combination for the Rose Bowl.

The Ducks, as home team in Pasadena, will wear their green jerseys and white helmets and probably white pants, according to receiver Jeff Maehl at Wednesday's media day.

All the uniform talk had the Ohio State players amused.

"They have about, what, 20 million uniforms?'' Terrelle Pryor said this week. "I'm sure they're going to come out with something I'm just going to look at and go, 'wow.' ''

Oregon defensive end Will Tukuafu said the important thing isn't the color, but that little round piece of fabric that will adorn the jerseys for this game.

"I will say it was nice to see the Rose Bowl patch sewn on it when they gave it to us,'' Tukuafu said. "It was a special moment, especially after the adversity we had to overcome earlier this year.?

Tough, interesting, and somewhat unfair article on the JT/TP relationship.

He [Pryor] needs to be protected from the press?

Jim Tressel thinks so. The guy coaches like he wears those familiar sweater vests: tight.

And you have to wonder if the Buckeyes? recent big-game failures ? and Pryor?s failure to launch ? are related, in part, to Tressel?s style. Who?s going to play free when the coach seems nervous, and so intent on controlling everything?
