1 - Why the hell did the RB stop running the colors all the way across the EZ? I think it looks stupid. They've been doing that for a number of years now (2005 BCS Champ game is the first time I remember seeing it)
2 - Just because Ohio State's field turf looks like that, it would be nice if the RB would have used the schools actual colors. The Fiesta Bowl EZ for Ohio State always looked tight and I prefer it to this.
3 - The RB also used to use a gray background with red letters. That might have been kinda cool too.
I'd put black around the letters to give a better contrast, though, I think.
Jwins.... I know you have opinions on this sort of thing... thoughts?

The guy I think is going to hurt Masoli the most, I think, will be #43. I think the duck oline will be keying on heyward, Gibson, the tackles, etc., but Nathan Williams is the one who will get a full-speed, all-in Matt-Wilhelm-on-Dorsey type of violent takedown.
Those are the best moments, too, when they replay it and replay it and replay it...
And you know, I don't remember seeing anyone smashing TP like that this year... say what you want about happy feet, but he has not been body slammed this year.
If Larimore gets to him, it will be more like the Will-Smith-on-Ken-dorsey kind of one-handed knockdown...

1. It does look stupid. I think they were trying to set it off from the out of bounds color, but it didn't really work. Looks like they were doing it as long ago as 02 Miami-Neb. If you need more separation, put more white paint outside the boundary.
2. The gray thing is an OSU problem. Tell them to quit pulling a BN27.
3. I like both midfield logos. They both work.
I love the overall look of the rose bowl endzones, which dwarfs most of the styles out there, but filling in those edges would be a lot better. U
At least they put the flipping team in the endzone. Boise State doesn't feel their blinding turf is enough when they host their bowl game
