I'm about ready to rip someone's throat out. Combination of jackass media types spouting the same cliches(Oregon's so much faster, Ohio State/Big-10 can't win big games, blah, blah, blah) and the long layoff. Hope we fuckin' destroy the Ducks.

The Big Ten has lost how many consecutive BCS bowl games? Ohio State has fallen in how many consecutive big games? The Big Ten has taken how much crud from the rest of the nation? Answer: A lot. And, to me, too much.

Oregon is faster than Ohio State. The Ducks have a better quarterback who's a proven clutch performer. There are many reasons to pick the Ducks.

But I won't. Oregon is a young team that is a year away -- only four starters are seniors.

Why am I picking Ohio State 28-24? One unscientific reason: I think the Buckeyes are due. Period.

I like Ted Miller's blog but he needs to shut the fuck up. How's that Arizona prediction looking? I'm sure they were too fast as well for those farm boys from Nebraska. Gotta' love the youth excuse(because we're loaded with vets) and the bs reason. "They're due". What a fucking copout. "Being due" doesn't win football games.

I believe people think that because they are a smaller team, whereas smaller=quicker/faster. Hey, we have athletes too, and let the Ducks believe what the nation thinks, it will be a rude awakening tomorrow afternoon.

because one of the best defenses they played all year just gave up 33 to Nebraska, Nebraska looks pretty fast now too

Less then 24 hours away from kickoff. I'm pretty amped for this game and putting our BCS ghosts of the past behind us.

I'm really sick of the media as well no one is even giving Ohio State a shot. I hope we come out as kick some major ass and host the Rose Bowl trophey.

As for Oregon being faster I find that to be complete and total B.S. I think this may be the fastest team we've had an awile. Pryor certainly helps at QB but our receivers are faster then people think. Pryor needs to work on his accuracy on the deep ball but we've had many deep balls this year.

Of course I think our defense will be ready to play as it always is.

I think the misconception arises from Orgon putting their playmakers in space, and utilizing their speed well. If you match up the Buckeyes position by position, well match up speed wise with anyone in the country.
