Game Thread 2010 Rose Bowl: Ohio State 26 Oregon 17 (Final, 1/01/2010)

Did he just say that he thinks Pac 10 defenses are no worse than Big 10 defenses? I question whether or not you've ever watched a football game, not only just the Buckeyes.

I agree that this will be the biggest test that we have faced all year. I predict a 33-30 game or something similar.

We kept Texas to 24 points in the Fiesta Bowl. They were averaging over 42 points per game last year. Our defense is much improved over last year, due to the play by our defensive line and our ability to force turnovers at an impressive rate. This defense is no Pac 10 defense.

This offense is more well rounded than that Texas team.

I love the fact that the Big 10 is on early every Sat morn. I get to nurse my hangover with some eggs and coffee while napping. Its almost as good as golf.

and I love the fact that every Saturday night I can sit down and watch an arena league game on TBS or the Versus channel, it is so exciting watching all those touchdowns and no defense it gets me so pumped it's almost as good as sex.:shake:

I think Pryor's efficiency will surprise you, as long as our line shows up.

We do not have a Gerhart. We have two main backs who play different but complementing games who will be productive (as long as our line shows up).

I'm really looking forward to this game.. I think it'll be an exciting thriller. I don't see a 38-17 beatdown as the other dude predicted, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't watch football - he just listens to ESPN.

As much crap as I will talk in this thread (slow start so far) I agree it will be close. Hope we edge you or it will be a long drive back from Cali.

PS I heard the Buckeye fans area great in person.

Of course. Sure.

Our #6 team beat your #1.

Bottom of the PAC 10 is better than the top of the Big 10?
So you're allowed to play the "we improved as the season wore on" card, but we're not. Gotcha.

Funny how these folks are eerily similar to UC fans.

For the record, I say tOSU-31 Oregon-24

Id be careful, the last couple of BCS games have not been the case.

You say this in response to me saying that all of Buckeye nation was watching the Civil War game on Thursday to see who our Rose Bowl opponent will be.

If you want to start throwing shit around, this is not going to end well.

I have a feeling I won't be rooting for Oregon much after this game is over. Sucks, because I actually like Oregon. Like watching them play. The lack of respect is amazing.
