Well, regardless of what anybody thinks of the new draft format it looks like it's here to stay:

I really like the new draft process. I like having the entire next day to talk about the first round and what might happen in the second.

The Rams pick Saffold from IU.

Credit them with the first smokescreen of the night - they were reporting just ten minutes ago that they were pretty likely to trade the pick and were just sorting through the offers. I don't think they got nearly as much interest as the conventional wisdom said they would in this format, and tried to stir some up at the last minute.

Will be interesting to see if KC takes Clausen for obvious reasons.

I think the Browns get McCoy without trading up.

Tampa Bay has a d-line with a lot of potential. They just drafted Brian Price.

Price and McCoy in the draft, I was a fan of both of them.
