The Raiders just traded down. They won't get Clausen either. :lol:

I don't have a problem with the pick (mainly because it's a need and I trust Holmgren), heck, McCoy might be available for the Browns next pick. Clausen too. :lol:

It's apparent that experts and fans have both overrated Clausen and McCoy.

Bucs are having a really good draft. I've liked all of their picks. Too bad I'm not sure Josh Freeman will amount to much in the NFL.

I don't know enough about Ward to be happy or upset about the pick. I'm just going to trust Holmgren. Look at his history, he knows what he's doing.

Well Ward played for Oregon, and he was the hard hitter of the secondary. Got a couple "sit-down-straight-arms" from TP...it's really a reach at this point.

I'm surprised at the fall of Sergio Kindle. Also, I would have loved to take Taylor Mays as a project 3-4 OLB.

With the slide that pass rushers like Kindle, Dunlap, and Griffen are taking, I'm shuddering to wonder where our own Thad Gibson is going to fall :(

Kindle's knee is in really bad shape and Mays can't cover. But I do not think Ward was the best player on the board there, not even close to the best safety. Interesting pick for sure.

Ah, that explains it. Still, with pass rushers on the board like there are it's not looking too good for Thad. Unless a team wants that 3-4 OLB specifically, which I think he can do wonders as.
