that is not the even the interesting part, that falls in line with wellwood/svatos, the nabby stunt is what kills me. he wont report, and because of the way it all shook out he cant be traded. the isles may try and force specific performance via the league or they could void the deal if he fails to report i believe, (id have to dive through the cba and im not wasting my time on a 35 year old no one wanted in the offseason headed to a terrible team)

Blackhawks trade Jack Skille, Hugh Jessiman and David Pacan (who?) to Florida for Michael Frolik and Alexander Sacan.

Ray Shero, I love you, but.. for a team like Pittsburgh that needs wingers, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT GET FROLIK WHEN HE'S AVAILABLE THAT CHEAP?!?!

Also, Beauchemin is headed back to Anaheim for prospect Jake Gardiner, Joffrey Lupul and a 4th rounder. Good trade for the Leafs.

Peter Forsberg also signed with the Avalanche this week. I expect him to play about three games and then get injured.

The Wings desperately need someone with toughness who can also stick to his guy defensively. It would be good if he's a defenseman, but a forward would be ok too to stick with either Abdelkader or Helm...

As for the CBJ, they still need more scoring.

Boston one-ups Philly and gets really tough.

Kaberle to Boston for prospect Joe Colborne, 2011 1st, 2012 conditional 2nd

Boston also traded Blake Wheeler and Mark Stuart to Atlanta for Rich Peverley and Boris Valabik.

Boston also picked up Chris Kelly from Ottawa earlier in the week.
