Star-Crossed Top Recruits of 2005 More Likely to Be Arrested Than Drafted

Star-Crossed Top Recruits of 2005 More Likely to Be Arrested Than Drafted -- NCAA Football FanHouse

That means there have been 11 draft picks from the 2005 five-stars. Amazingly, that's less than the number of men who have been arrested, 14. If you ever doubted whether being obsessed with college football recruiting was fool's gold, keep this stat in mind: In 2005, five-star recruits were more than twice as likely to be arrested (14) as drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2008 or 2009 (six).

They had a losing record last season. They are a very bad football team.

4-8 Kent State dominated them. They failed to break 20 points in 8 games. They didn't make it to double digits in 4 of those.

The boys who blew err I mean...in blue failed to break 20 points 7 times and lost to a worse MAC team than Kent State.

Maybe the Delaware State vs scUM matchup is more even than people think. :wink2:

Keep It Close And Lose In The Fourth Quarter
By Brian — May 15th, 2009

A lengthy but interesting look back at Carr's style of football at UM
Michigan entered 18 games over that period of time [2000-2005] with a lead smaller than ten points and went 8-10 in those games. They were under .500 when entering the fourth with a small lead! When tied or facing a similarly small deficit, Michigan was 6-1. In all games in which Michigan trailed by any margin they were 8-8. Michigan had a better chance of winning if trailing by any margin entering the fourth than they did if leading slightly.

You mean we have to wait until RR takes the lead into the 4th quarter of 18 games before we can do a comparison?

Talk about job security.
