Didn't Sheridan rip off a 70 yard run in their spring game?????

No, I'm pretty sure Sheridan broke his leg or something.

David Cone ripped off about a forty yard scamper though, proving that any quarterback can look good (or at least mobile) against the Michigan defense.

From ESPN: Big Ten - ESPN
Dustin from Washington writes: How many wins do you think Michigan will have this year. What do you think about coach Rods first full recurting class? What about next years class with 4 150 guys all ready given a verba?

Adam Rittenberg: I put Michigan between 6-8 wins this year, most likely seven or eight. Really liked what Rich Rodriguez did with the 2010 recruiting class. A lot of athletes, a lot of good skill guys. Michigan's 2010 recruiting also is off to an excellent start, especially with the addition of Devin Gardner.
Give me a break Adam. Just when I thought you were doing a pretty neat-oh job...

Michigan's problem wasn't 'athletes' last year, it was horrible defense and atrocious offensive line play. Adding wide receivers does literally less than nothing to help the situation. Hell, they're not even guaranteed to improve at QB this season (though it's hard to see how they could be worse).

Based on the players they lost up front, I thought their offensive line play was solid, or at least better than expected. QB play, however, was probably the worst in the history of their program.

I dunno, I guess I would have expected Master Shredder's offense to generate more than 150 ypg of rushing. Moreover, when you're under 4 ypc on the year, that's not good. In fact, their line was so terrible that when you subtract out the rushing losses and attempts from sacks, their ypc goes UP. Check for yourself: 1771 / 453 = 3.9 ypc WITH sacks, (1771-211) / (453-29) = 3.7 WITHOUT sacks. How the [censored] is that even possible?

(Note: this is rhetorical. I already know how it's possible, it's just goddamn hilarious to think about)
