Apparently Tater can barely bench 135 pounds...holy cow. How is that even possible?

Jesus, I don't even do that much lifting and I can bench that. I benched more than that when I was a freshman in high school. And we're talking about a kid who has played football his whole life and is going to start for scUM next year. :banger:

RR continues to state his goal of breaking the attendance record for a spring game, clearly looking at the numbers osu and bama bring in.

For years, many fans up north have used the excuse of weather for not attending, even claiming it is too nice outside at times. ErocWolverine drives this point home often. Today is a perfect mix, sunny and 49 (2 degrees colder than Cbus, despite the spin of some). Not cold, not warm, just a solid day with an extra layer or two. They are calling for virtually identical weather next weekend, plus two degrees.

To me, the new qb and funky new defense would draw me in if I were a fan.

It will be interesting to compare their attendance numbers, though they've been known to inflate them in the past.

Msu had 35000 yesterday at a shootaround in Detroit with nothing meaningful to watch.

Go Blue Michigan Wolverine

The blog below the presser recap has some very harsh reviews for:

Tate: struggled badly, can't see in pocket, tucks and runs very early, not a gamebreaker, size is a major concern. Thought threet would still start and expects to see fenard early if Tate doesn't improve.

Big will Campbell- talent and athleticism is obvious, but like past dts up north, and as seen at cass tech, he can be pretty lazy and doesn't display very good technique out there, even immediately after coaching.

Rave reviews for Vlad, TEs, RBs, and some individuals.

Good breakdown on some coaches as well.

I'm curious how long it will take to move on to their next savior if/when Tater struggles.

Im sure they will find some way to get him involved on offense even if its not at qb. You dont leave that kind of speed on the bench.

Brandon Saine can't seem to get on the field(tho partly due to injuries) and he's a better athlete than Robinson.

Oh, and Morgan Trent is a perfect example of someone with good speed who should've been kept on the bench.

Of course, that's track speed - lets see how that pans out on the field with 11 people on the opposite side of the ball.
Not to mention pads. Brandon Saine was a track star and thus far hasn't put it all together on the football field (though to be fair to Zoom, injuries have limited him significantly after a very good start). Speed is great, but it takes more than that to make an impact in football. If he is the real deal, they'd do well to use him in a similar role to what LLLLLLoyd did with Antonio Bass a few years back.

*edit: Good call on Morgan :slappy: Trent OB*
