2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

It seems as though the enivitable is going to happen. TFORCE leaves, DRob starts. Gardner comes in and starts next year. Next year against there will be a freshman starting QB with both RB's gone.

Not exactly the restocking that you're looking for in year three of a "turnaround"

An NFL scout breaks down Brandon Graham's game - AnnArbor.com
NFL position: 4-3 defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker
Draft grade: First or second round
Plays like: Colts DE Dwight Freeney. “He may not be as fast as Dwight, but he has the motor. And I say that effort is something that you can’t coach it. Guys either have it or they don’t.”
Skipping the strengths/weaknesses for this bombshell
Overall: “We just kept running the film back and looking at situations and looking at things that he did when it wasn’t even making a play, just seeing how he’s trying to get there when the play’s on the other side and he’s passing up other guys that are jogging and 55’s running past them. If they had (a few more) guys playing like he plays with the effort he plays, they’d be a good football team. They wouldn’t be trying to fight to get bowl eligible, they’d already be that.”
Reaction: Scout.com: NFL Scout praises B Graham calls out UM D for lack of effort

Unverified Voracity Has Tire Tracks On Forehead | mgoblog
Let's get Denarded. Since it will be on the message board forever and ever amen and discussed until the weekend: e-reports say that Tate Forcier's facebook status yesterday was about having a bad day and somewhere in the comment thread spawned by that—probably made band fiasco look tame—Tate mentioned he would not be starting this weekend, and then hurriedly deleted that because duh. All of this is in the realm of quasi-fact that the efix* is so good at condescendingly mocking.
…but. But Forcier is probably going to miss a little bit of time against Wisconsin for an exceedingly minor violation of team rules. This is not for sure. It is probable.
*(see what I did there?)

Source and reaction: Scout.com: new safety offer
I just read this on espn and copied it from espn.

Ray Vinopal (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) has scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Kent State and Air Force. On Wednesday he landed a fourth offer.

"Michigan just offered me today as a safety," Vinopal said on Wednesday night. Ray Vinopal (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) has scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Kent State and Air Force. On Wednesday he landed a fourth offer.

Does it mean that michigan isn't getting someone they thought or another scholorship opened up. what are your thoughts? Just based on his offer list it seems like a bit of a stretch.

I believe that is from Valenti, who is both a spartan fan and prone to tossing out any random speculation.

Things aren't good up there, but I wouldn't use him as the source, if that's his commentary. Just a heads up;
