The QB commit MSU got didn't even have an offer from Michigan first of all, and secondly he was clearly #3 on Dantonio's list of the 3 in-state QB's. Gardner and Bolden were both higher priority for Danontio, and since he wasn't going to land either one of them he went to option C. Nice attempt to spin though.

Hicks was NEVER coming here anyway. It was always Texas, USC, or Ohio State.

I thought they were looking good for bolden. I'm not sure I'd classify it as a huge blow with Gardner verballed and Tate starting this fall, but it could be another upgrade for "little" brother's talent level (which is usually a lot more mediocre).

Yep little brother is stepping up...thats kinda my point mh20.

As far as Tate is concerned until he plays(and survives) his first college season he is just another player. What he did to your defense in the spring game ought to scare you more than make you confident. Your defense is supposed to be further ahead of the offense especially with a freshmen QB...Michigans defense sucks...really bad.

mh20 my question was directed at Jwins not you...I didn't know they only needed 1 QB(thats why I asked Jwins) its not unheard of for a D1 school to recruit more than 1 QB in a recruiting year.

MSU has the same average of stars as Michigan and I think its hilarious.

Written by the PSU site, but nonetheless those are direct quotes from Bolden himself.

I think this one is over. Bolden to PSU is pretty much set in stone.

Boisture to MSU is not a blow to Michigan whatsoever. Michigan didn't offer him, and he wasn't a fit for the type of offense Rich was trying to run. Period.

Ohio State, Texas, USC, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama

What do these 6 teams have in common? They are top tier teams with reasonable aspirations in their leagues, as well as for the national championship. They bring in quality classes year after year.

And more importantly, they don't suck.

I think you're missing the point. MSU is upgrading its overall talent level while scUM is downgrading. Regardless of whether or not MSU "beat out" scUM for him, MSU is building a program that will contend for the B10 title much sooner than DickRods squad which will apparently start 75 slot receivers and ZERO defenders.
