Wermers, #11 OG per scout (#37 rivals). Benchwarmer. Leaving because he's buried on the depth chart and he wanted to pursue a real education (kept from leaving the 'easy path', or so it is claimed).

It will be interesting to see who the 'more' turn out to be, if anyone. Brandon Smith, blue-chip safety landed in Jan after RR took over, was moved to LB this spring and wasn't thrilled about it. He's a potential name there.

Brandon thought about leaving after being moved to lb, but has since realized playing LB is his only ticket to the nfl.

Woodson: Wolverines need to care about beating OSU
Posted: May 20, 2009
Sporting News staff reports

Although his relationship with his alma mater has dwindled over the years, former Michigan cornerback Charles Woodson still harbors plenty of hate for rival Ohio State.

On Sunday, the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner expressed concern that perhaps not as many current Wolverines feel the same way.

"When I got here, there was an emphasis on Ohio State," said Woodson, according to the Detroit Free Press. "That was year in and year out. It didn't matter if we were 8-4 or whatever it was. It was about beating Ohio State. So we've got to get back to that and make sure that game is the top priority."

Michigan has dropped five straight games to Ohio State, its longest losing streak to the school in program history.

Charles Woodson wants U-M to win again, beat OSU
BY MARK SNYDER • FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER • MAY 20, 2009

For me, it's just about winning," Woodson said Sunday at the Brian Griese/Steve Hutchinson, soon-to-be Woodson, golf tournament. "I don't care what happens or how it gets done. I just want Michigan to win again. I take a beating during the season at work in the locker room with something being said about Michigan. So I want to get back on top."
"For what Rich (Rodriguez) is doing, he needs his players to run the offense, so it's going to start there," Woodson said. "But there has to be that emphasis on that game. When I got here, there was an emphasis on Ohio State. That was year in and year out. It didn't matter if we were 8-4 or whatever it was. It was about beating Ohio State. So we've got to get back to that and make sure that game is the top priority."
He said he knows Rodriguez only a little bit, and is "not that involved" with the current program but watches as many games as he can. His take on the spread offense is lukewarm.

"If you use it all the time, I'm not sure that's the way to go," said Woodson, who saw it creep into the NFL in spurts as the "Wildcat" formation last season. "It's a way to throw other teams off-balance. Before Rich came, I thought it was something we could have done to experiment. Now it's our deal, so I hope it works."
