2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

This is my son's first season of flag football (spring flag football at that) It's an 8U league. He leads the league in receptions with 10, has scored 5 or 6TDs and has 3INTs with one taken back to the house.

Today, he received an offer to play slot WR at Michigan in 2010.... We're, needless to say, very excited....

Damn. The kid couldn't even cover me. Questionable offer at best.

If those Michigan douchebags want to count a pussy ass tie as a non-loss then they are the "moral victory" pussies I think they are.

For some reason I thought this was funny.

Anyways.....the buckeyes "should" run this streak to at least 7 games. I just don't see Michigan winning this year due to the talent difference and where both programs are at right now.

I couldn't help but snicker when I read this. If you do not feel too great about winning this year (I agree with you there), next year will be even more daunting with most of the team back and playing in the shoe. The only way I see Michigan having a chance next year is if Tater blows up this year. I'm not betting the mortgage on that.

If Tater doesn't "blow up" this year, Devin Gardner will be their new savior in 2010.

Zwem said 7 games...since the current win streak is 5, he's conceding that we'll win both this season at AA and also next season in The Shoe.

No, you are thinking of Mcguffie..or Threet....or........
I think Threet was always seen as a bridge. I think the progression over the past couple years has been something along these lines:
Mallett (Arky) > Sheppard (LSU) > Newsome (PSU) > Beaver (Tulsa!) > Tater (?) > Gardner...

You forgot Denard.
I see a lot of people talking him up, but not many that see him as "the answer" at Qb. Seems to me, most want certain packages designed for him. If Tater falters this year before Gardner arrives, then maybe. But most seem to be "all in" on Tater...then Gardner.
