2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

Please explain... all I was trying to say is that all fans get carried away with comparisons. Gamble was a good college player no denying that.

People weren't saying Gamble was the next Woodson. They were comparing his 2002 season to Woodson's 1997 season in the sense that Gamble was getting zero Heisman hype with similar counting stats.

Why would we ever insult one of our guys by saying he's "the next" traitorous piece of shit Ohio kid that went to scUM ?

Not even a little bit. Any Ohio kid that has an offer in hand from tOSU and chooses TSUN can [censored] himself. Traitors.
And what about the guys from michigan with michigan offers that skip over to Osu, Jackson last year, Gholston and others.... so its fair.
Mmm J.T Turner, hes gonna be a good1 :)

There is a fine distinction to be made between a traitorous bastard (Woodson, Howard, Crable) and some soul unfortunate enough to be born in Michigan but who sees the light while still in their youth (Jackson, Gholston). :p

And you're free to say they can go fuck themselves...

But I would recommend saying that someplace other than BP.

What Mili' said.

Nobody said it was unfair. Fair is not something we discuss here because this is a board of (mostly) adults. Fairness means squat.

If any of those traitors were struck by a molotov cocktail right in front of me, I wouldn't spare a drop of piss to put the fire out.

I think I was pretty clear. If they are FROM OHIO, have an offer from tOSU...they can choose whatever university is right for them...except ONE. Um. Fuck Um, and fuck any Ohio kid that has the opportunity to go to tOSU, but chooses the dark side. Fuck 'em.

pint-sized freshman.

I love how this is your guys' favorite words nowadays. Not that I think either of the two freshmen UM has (Denard, Tate) are going to be the next Pat White, but White was listed at 180 lbs coming out of HS and 185 lbs his senior year at wvu. He was a pretty durable qb, wouldn't you say? Denard is listed a pound smaller and an inch shorter, and Tate at the same height, and 7 pounds heavier. Being able to avoid the big hit by being "slippery" is extremely important, probably more so than total mass. Look at Threet, the kid weighed nearly 230 lbs but was constantly hurt because he was always being tackled weird; he was always taking the grunt of the hit.

No.

In King Lear, Shakespear writes that being a traitor is worse than murder. In Dante's Inferno the 9th ring of hell (lowest) is reserved for traitors. Are we being a little harsh on Benedict Arnold or Judas Iscariot?

My personal solution:
  • traitor bastard rat fuck of a kid is free to go
  • family is stripped of all personal belongings and escorted to state lines with their embarrassment of a fuck kid.
  • all are free to go to tsun in peace but barred from ever reentering Ohio(except for fucktard son to take his two beatings in Columbus).
  • Personal property is auctioned off and proceeds used to create a non athletic scholarship at OSU for an Ohio HS student who wants to go to OSU.

When people flee a communist regime to escape to America they are defectors.

When people betray the US and go the other way thay are worthless piece of shit traitors.

Pretty simple concept really.

A player as good as Pat White at his size is rare. The odds that either of those guys turn out to be as good as him are not in your favor. Even the great Pat White wasn't able to stay completely injury free and it cost WVU a shot of the national title when he couldn't stay healthy against a bad Pitt team.
