2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

QB is by far the most important position i would take Aaron Oplet over Nick Sheridan in a second.

Only Toledo fans should know the name of Toledo's starting QB.

I thought Rodriguez's offense was all about running the ball? Rushing attack, 400 yards rushing on Connectict while at WV. Why does he need to have a QB that can throw the ball. Go look how many times Pat White threw the ball? Go look at the passing stats @ West Virginia, pre-Pat White.

it conveniently provides an excuse for your new coach

This basically sums up most of the past 30 or so pages.

What did we hear before the start of the 2008 season?

"Spread offense"
"Guru"
"Speed"
"Barwis"
"Michigan's talent compared to WVU"

3-9 later...

"Cupboard was bare"
"RR's guys vs Llllloyd's guys"
"Barwis vs Fat linemen"
"Soft vs tough"
"Those who stay"

yada yada yada bullshit. That's all its been for 9 months now.

First we heard how DR was such a great coach and would scheme the offense to fit his personnel. (That worked out just fine didn't it?) Instead we hear. "He didnt have HIS QB".

We heard about the legend that is Bawris!!!11!!11! And how the players would immediatley respond to his system. Right on...

And how this offense would surprise the Big 10 because its something we haven't seen before with M*chigan's talent. Again, failure season; scUM camp says "players didnt buy into the system".

Its all propogana from the most blind of the devoted; it was sad 5 months ago, now its just something no person of remote intelligence wants to hear.
WVU fans, Buckeye fans, hell, even some scUM campers warned your fanbase about what RR was bringing. Ya didnt listen did you?

And here we are... I go onto the scout board every once in a blue moon and the idiocy I see is astounding. Its excuse after excuse for absolutely everything involving this coaching staff. Even if there is marginal improvement, do you think this would have been tolerated during Carr's tenure? I fucking doubt it.

You scUM folks' are nuts, its that simple, the fanbase has gone off-base and I pray you guys keep DR for a long time because this seem's to be a match made in Heaven and the proper punishment for such arrogance that's been displayed over the years.

/end rant.

Tate weighed in at 193 in one of the latest interviews they did with him.
Which isn't terribly convincing given the 180ish number put out there when he enrolled... Those at practice out him closer to 165.

College measurables are notorious for exaggeration. That makes me suspicious of any number.

But when said player's weight was a hot topic this spring, and barwis comes up to Tate during the hs recruit camp and loudly congratulates him on his new weight, it only furthers that skepticism. It seems like I'm being sold something.

The thing that gets me about scUM fans is that they think everyone in the B10 is deathly afraid of them and their future and the reason we mock them is just us trying to cope with that. They have really started to fall of the deep end, I'm starting to question the sanity of a lot of them.
