2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

1. Maizeman sent out an email privately which are not to be distributed.

2. The email contained info about a player who entered practice in a green jersey, but didn't have it on during practice (which was the smoking gun to cut ties after years of milking MM's content) and thus was "made up info"

3. Tom calls out maker-uppers, alluding to MM, gives a few examples. He also mocks this person for losing their connections with the old regime (then why were Maizeman practice reports pinned atop BP for the last 2 years during RR's regime?)

4. MM posts a heated board thread... stands by his emails, explains the misunderstanding. Was furious at Tom for calling him a liar, particularly by using private emails, and says he won't associate with deceitful people.

5. In an impromptu chat, Maizeman calms down a bit, is more regretful than angry, speaks well of Tom and doesn't want anyone to have hard feelings over his departure.

6. Tom joins chat. When asked why he attacks MM, he says he would never attack MM, it hurts him every time, but won't do it.

7. Then says they won't use people who make stuff up. What happened to #6?

8. Tom says UM was mad at them for MM's info, even though it was through an email. so they cut ties.

9. Other mods say that they're moving on, because to prove their point they would have to attack MM professionally.

10. Maizeman apologizes on the board for the misunderstanding and the difficulty that he brought on the board.

The board is a bigger circus than the team or school politics.
So, essentially, Tom Beaver is kind of an asshat.

or...

Tom Beaver is (1) kind of an (ass)hat.

Maizeman's apology. Instantly locked to prevent any shows of support. So, is he really gone? Because, if so, I'm cancelling my subscription. I'm not paying for Beaver to just link various "sunshine and lollipop" articles and coin flips.

One thing I admire about Bank and Nevada is that they're not afraid to go out on a limb with their predictions and the fact that they own the misses. There's none of that out of the beav. You pay to get actual opinions and insight, not best guesses and sunny side of 50% bullshit.

Here's the initial post from that thread...

No one does more with less.

Forgive me for coming into this late...

While the GBW post (i.e., RR one of the best) fails on many levels, I was struck by the comment that "no one does more with less." How does the tsun poster reconcile this notion with the fact that RR currently gets less out of more (using his reference to recruiting rankings, tsun's current players consistently rank higher than WV's)?

I suppose it's incumbent that RR recruit subpar players in order to fully manifest his superior schematic advantage and thus reveal his coaching genius.
