Gator, not sure why, but I thought your sig was just...dumb. Then I finally realized what the guy in the chair was looking
at. I apologize for my quick judgement sir. Carry on.

As disappointing as the line played today, I think a lot of it was confusion on where the pressure was coming from, mostly on the left side. Obviously that is a problem but I would rather it be moreso schematics than talent. One thing is for sure though...the run blocking MUST get better. Pryor can at least escape some pressure but the backs can't keep getting hit in the backfield and on the line of scrimmage.

During short yardage situations, I saw our offensive linemen get stopped, without any semblance of push, by DLs that our guys had 40 lbs on. Routinely. That's horrific technique and a lack of motivation. Both of those things are tied to coaching, IMO. That's got to change if we're going to beat good teams.

The offensive line play was miserable today.

Ohio State needed one lousy yard on that 4th down and the 260 lb Navy D line stacked up the line of scrimmage. Forget for a moment that every person in the stadium and my wife sitting next to me knew what play was coming, but the Ohio State O line should be able to get enough push to get a fucking yard.

Absolutely inexcusable. I'm like a broken fucking record.

All I heard the entire off season was about the changes to the Offensive scheme, play calling, etc, etc. Didnt see a single different thing today really. Every down, I could predict what play would be called, and I was sitting on the couch. I used to get upset about it. Now I just expect it. basically just sat on the couch and went "heh" everytime they made a dumb playcall or continuously let Navy stay in it.

Not too concerned about the playcalling. The playcalling is less of an issue than the performance of the OL. In fact, JT might be intentionally keeping the play vanilla to hide it from USC.

I could buy that if the play calling had been any different at USC last year.

The coaches may be tighter than the players heading into next week's game.

My wife sitting next to me on the 4th down play said "Ohhh, they're going to run right into each other again."
