2009 Polls - Regular and Pre-Season

this is absolutely ridiculous. how can LS-WHO and iowa still be ahead of us after both losing this weekend...wtf and LSU lost and moved up a spot?!? i dont understand how a team can be rewarded for losing. i dont give a fuck bout the top four...but each of the teams ahead of us either lost or almost lost.

I haven't looked at the polls. Didn't realize that LSU jumped up in the computers. That doesn't make sense.

um im pretty sure we were all watchin tOSU's game

um im pretty sure i did 2

But that has nothing to do with the point I was trying to make. LSU shouldn't be penalized too much for that loss. They picked off the ball on the drive that Bama scored a TD late in the game, and that TD turned out to be the winner. The fact that the refs didn't award that INT to LSU (it was pretty obvious) directly resulted in an Alabama TD.

Or did it result in a FG? I know it resulted in points.

I kinda figured we would get bashed for moving UP after a loss.

What helps is that enough other teams surrounding us had "worse" losses.

Georgia tech jumped us.

Oregon, and Penn State helped cushion our fall, along with USC not winning very pretty.

Shocked Iowa fell farther than us.

Not saying I agree with how it went down, but I can at least see how it happened.

i wish the human polls had more of an effect on the bcs.

human polls are two-thirds of the BCS.
pretty substantil imo.

iowa and lsu wouldnt be ahead of us. but i guess that will all change by next weekend

Iowa has a better record than OSU.
LSU's 2 losses came to top 3 teams.
OSU lost to # 10 and un-ranked.
