2009 NCAA Basketball Tournament

Agree , they only have 1 1/2 players.
I really like Manny Harris as a player, and would take DeShawn Sims based on how he'd be used in our system. Lucas-Perry could be a decent body off the bench too, but other than that, they don't have anybody else I'd really want. Jughead Novak plays his heart out, but he's a punk and takes some really bad shots, though that may be a product of the system...a lot of them do.

Yup Harris is a player I would want on my team. He and Sims make Mich go.

Sims is ill-suited for the system they run. He's either big time or completely disappears. No shades of gray with him. I think he'd be a much better player in our, or just about anybody else's system.

So you're saying that TSUN had a very talented played, and brought in a coach from West Virginia to install a system that wasn't suited to its talented player?

There's something vaguely familiar about that.

[sarcasm]Are you familiar with what's left of their football program?[/sarcasm]

PSU, scUM and Minny are all rooting for Utah State tonight. The Aggies are 29-4, but playing Nevada at Nevada for the WAC title. Nevada has to win. USU would 29-5 with a loss, and an at large candidate.

Nevada was only 8 for 38 from the floor yet they only trail 28-23 at halftime. Bubble teams, including the Big Ten ones, should be nervous.

Utah State wins to finish 30-4 with an auto bid. The problem is their biggest win was at home versus Utah by 2 points.

Bubble teams survive another day, but I don't think the Aggies will win more than one more game, if that.

I can't wait until the brackets are announced today. If I have to hear any more about bubble teams, bracketology, and another idiotic rant by Digger Phelps I think my head will explode.

Unfortunately, I'm sure another idiotic rant from Digger is coming, but at least the other two things will go away.

Then there's a day of bitching and whining for the teams that didn't get in. After that, they move on and talk about something important, like who's going to win that ridiculous 'play-in' game, for the right to be annihilated by somebody like North Carolina. :tongue2:
