The Open course is tough on everybody but watching Tiger and Phil take turns missing the fairway, putting their approaches in the bunkers, reminded me of that corny song.

They both just bogeyed number 8 to both go 3-over. Wow.

That course looks fucking beautiful, with the ocean views. I'd love to shoot a 130 on it. :p

I think it should be legal to pimp slap any dipshit who yells "Get in the hole!" on a 160 yard approach shot.
What's next yelling it on the tee for a par five? Idiots.:box:

I was thinking more along the lines of a full swing with a lob wedge directly into the scrotum. :lift:

at least tigger has an excuse. he's been in rehab for almost 2 months. phil is playing so poor.

Yep, but it's Tiger making a move after the turn today. He's only a stroke off the lead now while Phil is 5 off the pace.

I agree with you, these are the guys that are just there to see Tiger and don't understand anything about the game. Shut the hell up, it's so annoying to hear that on every approach shot

im not gonna lie i watched.
i came home from work early, popped open a beer, fired up the grill, tossed some brats on the grill, stood out in the storm with an umbrella dodging lightning cooking my brats, drank a few more beers and watched golf. kudos to this pairing system. it got me to watch before half heartedly on sat and sunday afternoon

lol grilling sounds amazing right now. I just wish I had a grill hahaha. These pairings I think if they continue to do these will help the game with viewers and to keep it more exciting the 1st two days of the tourney's.

I am watching the threesome of Katayama, Weekley and Jimenez - all in orange shirts - and the announcer says it is like watching Texas, Syracuse and Tennessee.

And I think to myself - wait a minute - Illinois still has a chance!
