Is it wrong that I'm still ticked off that Wisconsin didn't finish the job? Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the 2 - 7 season, but 1 - 8 is such a real possibility if it weren't for the Wisky collapse.

As a fan, I'll never relax against TSUN. I think this group of players (with JL & MJ) will not relax either, and you know Tressel will still be emphasizing the game's importance. I'm expecting TSUN to come out with guns a blazing to salvage something from their season.

It's not my fault, If I had known that we had scheduled powerhouses like Utah and Toledo I never would have taken this job, plus I got left with no players, none, I think we all know who's responsible for the problems I am having. :sad2:
Blaming Ty Willingham you sly bastard you.

There's also the matter of the 3-3-5 disaster they debuted yesterday. Shafer is a 4-3 guy, RR a 3-3-5 guy. Did RR force the issue there?

I assume that's the major reason why Michigan surrendered 48 points to a Purdue team that PSU, we, and Minnesota kept out of the end zone.

You gus don't understand my philosophy. Ok, so I win 2-3 games this year, now next years expectations are really low. Low expecations are good, if I win 5 games next year, everyone will see improvement, then 6 the year after that... look at all the fans now who are seeing how awesome I am and I haven't even shown them my true powers.

It's Confirmed: Rich Rodriguez Is The Right Man For Michigan - Hail Victors Michigan Sports forum

It's confirmed, for me at least, that RR is the right man to lead the Wolverines into a new era of success never accomplished by the coaches of past. It is clear that through seven games, and a 2-5 start, that the talent level is not where UM fans have been accustomed to seeing. But, the cupboard is not completely bare. We have seen glimpses of spectacular play from many freshman and that gives us all hope. Even some of the upperclassmen have stepped up to make a contribution.

Yesterday, RR took his ill-suited spread players into Beaver Stadium and took it to the #3 team in the country for the entire first half. And this was against a Lion team that has a top 10 offense AND defense. The team just ran out of steam the second half. PSU played like the #3 team, and proved it.

As a true Michigan fan, this give me hope that the future will be very bright. We all need to support our team through thick and thin. This is what real fans do. Give RR some time, let him get some spread type players in AA before you start calling for his head. I can't wait to see RR prove all you fairweather fans wrong. And when he does, I will be there to tell you, "I told you so."

Hell, if I get 5 wins next year these guys are going to build a statue of me.

Now that scUM's streak of non-losing seasons and bowl-games is toast, who are the active leaders in those caterogies right now?

Here are the teams that haven't had a losing season since 2000.

Last losing season - Team
1976 - Florida St.
1979 - Florida (0-10-1 that year)
1988 - Ohio State
1992 - Texas Tech
1992 - Virginia Tech
1993 - Southern Miss (but 3-6 right now)
1996 - Georgia
1996 - Georgia Tech
1997 - Boise State
1997 - Louisville (1-10 that year)
1997 - Texas
1998 - Boston College
1998 - Clemson
1998 - Oklahoma
1999 - LSU
2000 - USC

Active Bowl streaks of at least 8 years
33 - TSUN - but ending this year
26 - Florida St
17 - Florida
15 - Virginia Tech
11 - Georgia
11 - Georgia Tech
10 - Texas
09 - Boston College (with an active 8-game bowl win streak)
09 - Oklahoma
08 - Ohio State
08 - Texas Tech
08 - LSU

Nebraska's string of 35 from 1969-2003 is the all-time record.
